Calpeda have a popular range of both domestic and commercial swimming pool pumps.

These pool pumps can be traced right back to the 1980’s, when they first launched the NMP range which are constructed from cast iron or bronze and are still available today.

We have staff here at IPM that have been selling and repairing pool pumps since the beginning of the 1990’s, which is also the decade when Calpeda widened their pool pump range by introducing the MPC MPCM pumps manufactured from engineering plastics.

The MPCM pumps have undergone various upgrades and changes and are still sold today in their current energy efficient and reliable form. The model numbers have changed over the recent years but if any of our customers call wanting a replacement for one of their older models, we can always go back through our records and cross reference them with the up to date model.

Calpeda swimming pool pumps stood out right from the very start because of two important characteristics, their priming capacity and their great compactness.

The MPC pumps have a very fast priming capacity, which guarantees safe operation in every situation. This is possible thanks to a patented diffuser and a stainless steel diffuser funnel that is exclusive to this pump range.

Over the years, further interventions have been made in order to improve the range even more. The mechanical part was reviewed, in particular on the MPC range, to further increase its reliability and make maintenance easier. The introduction of a support base has also made the pump more functional and suitable for plant installations.
