Popular pump models include the PABLBM15 which is an all bronze pump with the suction port on the side of the pump. In cast iron, there are models PM16, PM21, PM30, PM40, PM 60 and PM70 (The “M” denotes single (mono) phase) and also available in a three phase version P16, P21, P30, P40, P60, P70. Available in bronze there is the PMB16, PMB21, PB16 and PB21. For applications that require higher heads but lower flows, such as a steam press, available in cast iron with brass inserts, there is the PSA70/A in three phase and the PSAM70/A in single phase.

Standard mechanical seal is carbon, ceramic with nitrile elastomers, which are good for up to 80 degrees C on the bronze versions, and 40 degrees C in the cast iron versions.

Lowara ESV Series vertical multistage pumps

esvThis is Lowara’s new range of stainless steel vertical multistage pumps, which have replaced the old SV2, SV4, SV8, SV16, SV32, SV64 pump models.

The new model sizes are 1SV, 3SV, 5SV, 10SV, 15SV and 22SV and each size being available with a varying numbers of impellers depending on the pressures required.

The new range has redesigned hydraulics and higher efficiency electric motors. They are found on booster pump sets, irrigation systems, wash systems, boiler feed and many more industrial and commercial applications. The entire wet end (pump materials that are in direct contact with the liquid being pumped) is constructed from stainless steel, with EPDM o-rings and a Carbon vs Silicon Carbide mechanical seal. This combination of hydraulic design and materials of construction, allows the pump to handle liquid temperatures of up to 120 degrees C, flows of up to 480 litres per minute and pressures up to 25 bar.

These pumps can all be fitted with the Hydrovar variable speed drive.

Lowara SVI Series immersible vertical multistage pumps

svipumpA similar design configuration to the surface mounted E-SV multistage pumps, but these pumps are designed to be mounted directly into the liquid feed tank. This makes them ideally suited for pumping high pressure coolant on machine tool applications, for example when coolant is actually pumped directly through the cutting tool and on to the job.

The range sizes are SVI2, SVI4, SVI8, SVI16, SVI33, SVI46, SVI66, and SVI92 and each size being available with a varying numbers of impellers depending on the pressures required. Various mechanical seal combinations are available on request and also longer stem lengths are available.

To enable this style of pump to generate higher pressures (up to approx 24 bar), the impellers will have been designed with a small through way and so the coolant must be kept clean or blockages can occur. There is a strainer on the base of the pump, so this will prevent some solids from entering the impeller stack. Please contact us if you require any further information or a data sheet sending.

Lowara FCE, FCS Series inline circulator pumps

fcepumpThese pumps are constructed from cast iron and are fitted with either a stainless steel or cast iron impeller. The suction and discharge ports are flanged and have an inline configuration. They are ideally suited for heating, ventilation, cooling and chilling applications.

Mechanically sealed with either Carbon vs Ceramic or Silicon Carbide vs Carbon seal faces and EPDM elastomers (rubber parts) which will allow the pump to handle liquids of between 130-140 degrees C depending on which model.

The FCE pumps are close coupled with a special motor shaft extension, and the FCS is fitted with a stub shaft and standard motor (our preference). They are also available as a twin pump unit FCTE and FCTS.

Two pole (2900 rpm nom speed) electric motors are fitted to the following size pumps : FCE40, FCE50, FCE65, FCE80 and FCE100, with Kw ratings from 0.75Kw up to 22Kw. Four pole motors (1450 rpm nom speed) can also be fitted to FCS125, and FCS150 models.
